Hamlet Castle was built in Helsingør between 1574 and 1585 and has not only unique architecture but also a rich and exciting history. Kronborg Castle is the site of one of the happiest royal marriages in Europe. Frederick II lived in the castle with the love of his life, Queen Sophie, in the late 16th century.
