There are a few options for your ceremony in Copenhagen. You can either go with the standard City Hall ceremony, open-air wedding or private ceremony.
City hall is open to the public (9am-4pm Mon-Fri, Saturday 9am-1pm), there are also a few people working and wandering around the building, but It’s never challenging to find a quiet corner for beautiful wedding photos.
Some of my favorite photo locations within Town Hall are: 2nd floor hallway (absolute favorite because of the natural light), 1st floor balcony, and a beautiful staircase. There are so many photo locations and possibilities within and around Copenhagen City hall. As a Copenhagen wedding photographer I will guide you through all the charming corners of the Town Hall.

Every wedding season brings its own magic to weddings, and as a Copenhagen wedding photographer, it’s essential to me to capture the unique essence of each.
Copenhagen offers beautiful wedding options year-round, but some seasons are more popular than others.
When is wedding season in Copenhagen? Generally speaking, wedding season in Copenhagen is when the majority of weddings take place, and that tends be from spring to early fall. With warm and sunny weather and long daylight hours perfect for outdoor photo session, especially in June, July, and August.
Fall can be a bit more rainy season in Copenhagen. However the fog can create a special, romantic atmosphere for wedding photos.
Winter can be cozy and perfect for those who wants to experience cozy winter wonderland. Brave the cold! Be prepared to head outside to the nearest Christmas market even though it’s chilly. You can stay warm by wrapping up in a gorgeous coat, having a mug of warm wine. As your photographer in Copenhagen, I’ll be there to capture every cozy, romantic, and joyful moment.
